01. Holding Fire
02. Move On, Grow
03. Colour Vision
04. Madness
A thoughtful collection of mixed metaphors & strong emotions, Noble's second EP is the culmination of how it feels to be utterly taken aback by the beautiful nature of chaos. The album explores the highs and lows of love, pain, and personal inspiration, with passionate vocals and powerfully placed instrumentation. Cassie’s emotional voice drives each track, sometimes right through a fence and into an open field, leaving your heart pounding amid the bittersweet serenity.
PAST SHOWS & TOURS
"Inspired heavily by nature, Cassie has been reinventing herself, growing, changing, and creating."
Finding beauty in madness, trying to find the words to share it. Cassie's Indie Folk Pop style is mellow, heavy with emotion, and contains copious amounts of soul & honesty. The music she creates feels calm and surreal, like sitting by a fire in the middle of nowhere.
Though she has been performing live music across Canada since 2012, Cassie released her first solo single & EP in 2019, and started playing more intimate venues and making meaningful audience connections, touring as much as the pandemic allowed. Inspired deeply by nature, Cassie believes in continuous growth and change, and in practicing gratitude. She hopes for her music to be a mirror, inspiring deep reflection and honesty in others.
Noble was awarded Gold in Kawartha Lakes Reader's Choice 2021 "Local Musician [or] Band", and notable performances include Sofar Sounds & Rogers Hometown Hockey.
"The narrative Cassie Noble creates is an honest story; like the emerging artist, it goes through confusion and fear to eventually find happiness. Find A Way features relatable lyrics and chordal simplicity, but tugs harder at the heartstrings than your average folk song. Noble's vocals have the dynamism and emotion of a good storyteller." - Tia Julien, Dominionated
"Cassie’s vocals are grandiose, she has such a unique voice. [...] You can say without any doubt that Lost at Sea has all the elements of a modern gem." - Lefuturewave
"A voice that does sadness so very well and sustains it admirably" - mp3hugger

01. Lost at Sea
02. By Now
03. Medicine
04. Brave
05. Build a Home
Each song on this Ontario artist’s mellow folk-rock album radiates powerful emotion and represents a different stage in a continuous narrative about finding a way through relationships and connections. In life’s usual serendipitous fashion, Cassie Noble met Montréal artist, Brandon Patitucci, who offered up his engineering & production talents. Together, they thoughtfully compiled a select few songs to create an emotionally driven musical experience that would become her debut EP.
The first track, based on a dream, expresses feelings of being lost, held down, ignored. This continues into the first half of the second song, as a gradual decision is made to change the circumstances; "I refuse to waste my time". The middle & third track, "Medicine", shows newly discovered freedom and independence, with a more upbeat and 'full' dynamic. It also alludes to meeting new people ("feel free to keep me company") along this journey. The last two songs are about finding new love & happiness, struggling to hold onto it, and creating a new life.
Fun Note: Cassie’s heart (quite literally) went into this album. She held a microphone to her chest and sat very still so she could use her heartbeat as percussion in the first track, adding to its overall dream-like sound.
